World Environment Day was celebrated by the N.S.S. Department, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. With the collaboration of volunteers, the N.S.S. officers planted saplings in the villege Noorwala and nearby places. Around 500 plants were distributed among the villagers and were made aware of building a greener world during this pandemic. Students adhered to the Covid-19 protocol and social distancing during the campaign. The college principal appreciated the efforts done by the N.S.S. officers for public welfare.
