MAIN HIGHLIGHTS: SDP Institutions, Ludhiana jointly celebrated 75th anniversary of India’s Independence with great nationalistic fervour. All SDP educational institutions viz a viz SDP Sr.Sec School, Hazoori Road, SDP Sr. Sec .School, Basti Jodhewal, Sri Om Parkash Gupta SDP Model Sr.Sec. School, Quilla Mohalla, Sh. Ram Lal Bhasin Public School, Dugri and SDP Collegiate Sen. Sec. School jointly celebrated the day with great enthusiasm. Students of all SDP institutions, with tri-coloured flags in their hands and raising slogans "Bharat Mata Ki Jai' celebrated the day.

Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President SDP Sabha (Regd) and SDP Institutions, Ludhiana was the Chief Guest of the day. All the Head of the Institutions, Dr. Ravi Kant, Principal, Sh Jasbir Chauhan, Principal, Dr Sanjeev Bindra, Principal, Ms Raman Oberoi, Principal, and Ms. Indu Khurana, Principal accorded a floral welcome to President. Escorted by NCC Cadets, the Chief Guest gracefully hoisted the National Flag, while the school band played the welcome tune. The students presented cultural and patriotic feast to commemorate the sweet memories and contributions of legendary heroes of Independence. Patriotic songs, Group Dance, Nukkad Natak, Skit, Bhangra and Choreography on ‘Patriotism’ and `National Integration 'brought a splash of colour to the celebrations.
