Under the able guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, a two-day Faculty Knowledge Sharing Programme on ‘Do’s And Dont’s of Research Paper Writing’ and ‘Statistical Package for Social Sciences’ was organized by the Department of Economics and Mathematics , SDP College for Women in collaboration with IBS Information Office Ludhiana. Dr. Tavleen Kaur ,Dean and Deputy Placement Coordinator, ICFAI Business School, Gurgaon, made the faculty aware about the Research skills and publishing Research Papers. She also focused upon famous journals and from where and how to get information about the same. Whereas Dr. Vipin Khuarna, Professor and Area Coordinator at IBS Gurgaon, the Guest Speaker for 2nd day of the Programme, imparted the knowledge about the uses of Statistical Package Software in Social Sciences. The college Principal thanked the Guest Speakers for sharing such valuable knowledge and also appreciated the efforts done by the Department of Economics and Mathematics.
