Under the able guidance of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP College for Women & Sabha (Regd.) a ‘Career Guidance Session and Placement Drive’ was organised by the Career Guidance and Counselling Cell, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana under the aegis of IQAC in collaboration with Ambitious Consultancy, Ludhiana. Ms. Deepika Singla was the resource person who apprised the students about job opportunities in various fields like Digital marketing, immigration, banking and IT sector etc. She suggested varied ways about how to opt career in one’s life depending on the capabilities and potential. 61 students took part in the session and cleared their doubts by asking various questions regarding the confusions, they usually face while deciding their career. Out of 35 students, who appeared for the interview in the first round, 17 were selected for the second round of interview at the employer’s place. The college principal thanked the resource person and motivated students to acquire practical knowledge and basic skills required for a job.
