Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, Career Guidance and Placement Cell of SDP College for Women, Ludhiana organized an Industrial Visit to renowned cycle manufacturing industry i.e. Hero Cycle Ltd. Ludhiana. The objective of the visit was to give industry exposure to students as a part of their course curriculum. The students practically experienced the concepts of Plant Layout, production, assembly line, quality checks and dispatch units at Hero Cycle. It was an enriching learning experience for students to know how Hero Cycle became largest manufacturer of Cycles in India. The college Principal, Dr. Ravi Kant appreciated the efforts done by the department and also thanked the officials of Hero Cycle Ltd. Ludhiana.
