Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd) & College Managing Committee, ‘A two-day Hindi Diwas’ was celebrated by the Department of Hindi, SDP College for Women. On the first day, Creative Writing Competition was organised wherein students showcased their creative skills through Essay Writing, Poem Writing and Story Writing competitions, they also participated in Hindi handwriting Competition. The following day, Students from various streams delivered their speech and recited poems to mark the day.  Certificates were also given to participants. The College Principal, Dr. Ravi Kant, through his words created awareness among the students regarding the importance of Hindi language and advised them to adopt Hindi as medium of their expression. He also appreciated the efforts made by the Department of Hindi.

एसडीपी कॉलेज फॉर विमेन ने पूरे जोश के साथ दो दिवसीय हिंदी दिवस मनाया

एसडीपी सभा (पंजीकृत) एवं महाविद्यालय प्रबंध समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री बलराज भसीन की प्रेरणा से हिन्दी विभाग, एसडीपी महिला महाविद्यालय द्वारा 'दो दिवसीय हिन्दी दिवस' मनाया गया। पहले दिन ‘रचनात्मक लेखन प्रतियोगिता ‘का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें छात्रों ने निबंध लेखन, कविता लेखन और कहानी लेखन प्रतियोगिताओं के माध्यम से अपने रचनात्मक कौशल का प्रदर्शन किया I उन्होंने हिंदी हस्तलेखन प्रतियोगिता में भी भाग लिया। अगले दिन, विभिन्न धाराओं के छात्रों ने अपना भाषण दिया और दिन को चिह्नित करने के लिए कविताओं का पाठ किया। प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाण पत्र भी दिए गए। कॉलेज के प्राचार्य डॉ. रविकांत ने अपने शब्दों के माध्यम से छात्रों में हिंदी भाषा के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा की और उन्हें अपनी अभिव्यक्ति के माध्यम के रूप में हिंदी को अपनाने की सलाह दी। उन्होंने हिन्दी विभाग के प्रयासों की भी सराहना की।
