Under the able and inspiring stewardship of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, esteemed President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, Phase I of PU G-20 Youth Fortnight (15th February, 2023 - 28th  February, 2023) on the theme of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam;  One Earth, One Family, One Future’ was celebrated by SDP College for Women, Ludhiana as per the instructions by Panjab University, Chandigarh. Various competitions like Declamation Contest, Online Essay writing Competition, Poster Making competition were organized. Cultural activities were also organized. The purpose of this event was to spread awareness among the youth and academic community in the country about Indian presidency in G-20 and universal sense of oneness. Students participated in these competitions with full enthusiasm. Ms. Sudesh Bhalla, Offg. Principal appreciated the teachers for putting their efforts in making the event a grand success. She also motivated the students to participate in such competitions. The second and final phase with remaining events will be conducted on 27th February, 2023.
