Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and College Managing Committee, anIndustrial Visit to Neva Garments Ltd. Ludhiana was organized by the Department of Commerce and B.Voc., SDP College for Women, Ludhiana on 17 November 2023. The visit was aimed at getting an insight into the real working environment and the processes followed in the industry. Mr. S.M. Sidhu, HR Head, Neva Garments Ltd. Ludhiana, apprised the students of manufacturing of thermal Winter innerwear and hosiery products. They were acquainted with the practical knowledge so that they may change their thinking towards education and industrial life. Ms. Sudesh Bhalla, Offg. Principal, appreciated the efforts done by the department and also thanked the officials of Neva Garments.

दिनांक 20 नवंबर 2023 स्थानीय एस.डी.पी.कॉलेज फॉर विमैन मेंसभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन जी की प्रेरणा से कॉलेज के वाणिज्यविभाग और बी.वोक. द्वारा नेवा गारमेंट्स लिमिटेड, लुधियाना का एकऔद्योगिक दौरा आयोजित किया। इस दौरे का उद्देश्य वास्तविककामकाजी माहौल और उद्योग में अपनाई जाने वाली प्रक्रियाओं कीजानकारी प्राप्त करना है। श्री एस.एम. नेवा गारमेंट्स लिमिटेडलुधियाना के एच.आ.र हेड सिद्धू ने छात्राओं को थर्मल विंटर इनरवियरऔर होजरी उत्पादों के निर्माण से अवगत कराया। उन्हें व्यावहारिकज्ञान से परिचित कराया गया ताकि वे शिक्षा और औद्योगिक जीवन केप्रति अपनी सोच बदल सकें। कार्यकारिणी प्राचार्या श्रीमती सुदेश भल्लाने वाणिज्य विभाग और बी.वोक. द्वारा किये गये प्रयासों की सराहना कीतथा नेवा गारमेंट्स के अधिकारियों को भी धन्यवाद दिया।
