SDP College for Women pays tribute to the Father of the Nation on Martyr’s Day

Under the expert guidance of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha & College Managing Committee, Martyrdom of Mahatma Gandhi ji was observed by the Department of Hindi and Punjabi, SDP College for Women on January 30, 2024. On this occasion, a Poetical Recitation activity was organised wherein students recited wonderful poems dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi’s life. To mark the day, Students also expressed their views on the life history of the Father of the Nation and his great contribution during the freedom struggle. Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha, Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal and Ms. Sudesh Bhallaapplauded the efforts of both the departments. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal urged the students to follow the path of truth, peace and non- violence. She also encouraged them to take part in such activities.
