SDP College for Women organises an Extension Lecture on ‘Insights into the Services Offered by DBEE and Guidance on Employment Portals (NCS & PGRKAM)’

Under the sole inspiration and able guidance of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, esteemed President, S.D.P. Sabha and College Managing Committee, an insightful Extension lecture on ‘Insights into the Services Offered by DBEE and Guidance on Employment Portals (NCS & PGRKAM)’ was organised by the Career Guidance and Counselling Cell, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. Mr. Anuj Kishore Dutta, Career Counsellor, District Bureau of Employment & Enterprises, Ludhiana and Mr. Lavnish Sharma, Young Professional, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India, were the resource persons. Mr. Dutta elaborated on the pivotal role played by DBEE in bridging the gap between job seekers and employers. Students were introduced to the wide array of services offered by DBEE including career counselling, skill development programs, job fairs and entrepreneurial support. Additionally, Mr. Sharma provided a detailed demonstration on how to register and navigate key employment portals such as the National Career Service (NCS) and Punjab Ghar Ghar Rozgar and Karobar Mission (PGRKAM). All the students attended this lecture attentively. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal, proposed a formal Vote of Thanks to the resource persons for their valuable guidance. She also appreciated the efforts put in by the Career Guidance and Counselling Cell for organizing this event.

ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜ ਫਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ ਨੇ 'ਡੀ.ਬੀ.ਈ.ਈ. ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਝ ਅਤੇ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਪੋਰਟਲਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ (ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਐਸ. ਅਤੇ ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਆਰ.ਕੇ.ਏ.ਐਮ.)' ਵਿਸ਼ੇ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਐਕਸਟੈਂਸ਼ਨ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਸਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜ ਫਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਗਾਈਡੈਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਉਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਸੈੱਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ 'ਡੀ.ਬੀ.ਈ.ਈ. ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਝ ਅਤੇ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਪੋਰਟਲਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ (ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਐਸ. ਅਤੇ ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਆਰ.ਕੇ.ਏ.ਐਮ.)' ਵਿਸ਼ੇ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੂਝਵਾਨ ਐਕਸਟੈਂਸ਼ਨ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਨੁਜ ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਦੱਤਾ, ਕਰੀਅਰ ਕੌਂਸਲਰ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬਿਊਰੋ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਪਲਾਇਮੈਂਟ ਐਂਡ ਐਂਟਰਪ੍ਰਾਈਜ਼ਿਜ਼, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਲਵਨੀਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਯੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸ਼ਨਲ, ਕਿਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਮੰਤਰਾਲਾ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ, ਸਰੋਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਸਨ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦੱਤਾ ਨੇ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਲੱਭਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੀ.ਬੀ.ਈ.ਈ. ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਗਈ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੀ.ਬੀ.ਈ.ਈ. ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਕਾਉਂਸਲਿੰਗ, ਹੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ, ਨੌਕਰੀ ਮੇਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਦਮੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਸੇਵਾ (ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਐਸ.) ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੋਬਾਰ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ (ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਆਰ.ਕੇ.ਏ.ਐਮ.) ਵਰਗੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਪੋਰਟਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਰਜਿਸਟਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨੈਵੀਗੇਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸਤ੍ਰਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ ਨੇ ਸਰੋਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਰਸਮੀ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਲਈ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਗਾਈਡੈਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਉਂਸਲਿੰਗ ਸੈੱਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
