SDP College for Women celebrates Basant Panchami with Cultural Fervour

Under the expert guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, Basant Panchami was celebrated with full vivacity and festivity by the Department of Music in collaboration with the Department of Home Science, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. The celebration commenced with Deep Prajvalan, invoking the blessings of the Goddess Saraswati – the epitome of Knowledge, wisdom and art. It was followed by melodious songs ‘Veena Vadini Var De’ presented by the students of the department of Music, marking the onset of the spring season. Adding to the festive spirit, a Kite-Making Competition was also organized, in which students made vibrant and colourful kites showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. Dr. Ranjana Sood, Offg. Principal applauded the efforts put in by the Department of Music and Home Science for the successful organization of the event. Dr.  Ranjana Sood, Offg. Principal prayed to Goddess Saraswati for the well being, prosperity and academic success of all. She also motivated the students to become progressive learners. The event concluded with the distribution of yellow Prasad among all.

एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन ने सांस्कृतिक उत्साह के साथ बसंत पंचमी मनाई

एस .डी .पी सभा( पंजीकृत ) और कॉलेज प्रबंधक समिति के सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन के कुशल मार्गदर्शन में, एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन, लुधियाना के संगीत विभाग ने गृह विज्ञान विभाग के सहयोग से बसंत पंचमी को पूरे जोश और उत्साह के साथ मनाया। उत्सव की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलन से हुई, जिसमें ज्ञान, बुद्धि और कला की देवी सरस्वती का आशीर्वाद मांगा गया। इसके बाद संगीत विभाग की छात्राओं ने सुरीले गीत 'वीणा वादिनी वर दे' प्रस्तुत किए, जो बसंत ऋतु के आगमन का प्रतीक था। उत्सव के माहौल को आगे बढ़ाते हुए, एक पतंग बनाने की प्रतियोगिता भी आयोजित की गई, जिसमें छात्राओं ने अपनी रचनात्मकता और उत्साह का प्रदर्शन करते हुए जीवंत और रंगीन पतंगें बनाईं। कार्यकारिणी प्राचार्या डॉ. रंजना सूद ने कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन के लिए संगीत और गृह विज्ञान विभाग द्वारा किए गए प्रयासों की सराहना की। कार्यकारिणी प्राचार्या डॉ. रंजना सूद ने सभी के कल्याण, समृद्धि और शैक्षणिक सफलता के लिए देवी सरस्वती से प्रार्थना की। उन्होंने छात्राओं को प्रगतिशील शिक्षार्थी बनने के लिए भी प्रेरित किया। कार्यक्रम का समापन सभी को पीला प्रसाद वितरण के साथ हुआ।
