‘Ek Mutthi Gulaal Desh Ke Shaheedo Ke Naam’: A spirit of Patriotism -Celebration by SDP College for Women
Under the guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and College Managing Committee, Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit by SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. The celebration was marked with the heartfelt theme ‘Ek Mutthi Gulaal Desh Ke Shaheedo Ke Naam’ where students dedicated the colours of joy and unity to the brave martyrs of the nation. Adding colours to the celebration, the students showcased their creativity by preparing beautiful rangoli designs reflecting the spirit of holi and nationalism. They tossed vibrant colours into the sky filling the atmosphere with festive cheer and also danced enthusiastically to the patriotic song ‘Rang de Basanti Chola’. Dr. Ranjana Sood, Offg. Principal wished all the teaching, non-teaching staff members and students a joyous and colourful holi and also appreciated the students for beautifully integrating festivity with patriotism. The celebration concluded with a message of harmony, unity and deep respect for the great martyrs.

एस .डी .पी सभा ( पंजीकृत) और कॉलेज प्रबंधक समिति के सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन के कुशल नेतृत्व में, एस .डी .पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन , लुधियाना में होली बड़े जोश और देशभक्ति की भावना के साथ मनाई गई। उत्सव की थीम ‘एक मुट्ठी गुलाल देश के शहीदों के नाम’ थी, जहाँ छात्राओं ने देश के बहादुर शहीदों को खुशी और एकता के रंग समर्पण किए। उत्सव में रंग भरते हुए, छात्राओं ने होली और नेशनलिज़्म की भावना को दिखाते हुए सुंदर रंगोली डिज़ाइन बनाकर अपनी सृजनात्मकता दिखाई। उन्होंने आसमान में चमकीले रंग उड़ाकर माहौल को त्योहार की खुशी से भर दिया और देशभक्ति गाने ‘रंग दे बसंती चोला’ पर नृत्य भी किया। डॉ. रंजना सूद, कार्यकारिणी प्राचार्या ने संकाय के सभी सदस्यों और छात्राओं को खुशियों भरी और रंगीन होली की शुभकामनाएं दीं और देशभक्ति के साथ त्योहार को खूबसूरती से मिलाने के लिए छात्राओं की तारीफ भी की। उत्सव का अंत मेलजोल, एकता और महान शहीदों के लिए गहरे सम्मान के संदेश के साथ हुआ।
