Department of Mathematics organised a trip to Gurdwara Sri Chamkaur Sahib and Dastan‑e‑Shahadat was a deeply meaningful and inspiring experience. The theme of the trip revolved around sacrifice, courage, faith, and the rich history of Sikh heritage.
At Chamkaur Sahib, students learned about the historic battle of Chamkaur, where Guru Gobind Singh and his Sahibzadas displayed unmatched bravery and devotion. Visiting this sacred place allowed students to connect with the values of selflessness, resilience, and standing for righteousness.
The visit to Dastan-e-Shahadat further enhanced this learning through its powerful visual presentations and exhibits that depict the sacrifices made for faith and justice. It helped students understand history not just through books, but through an immersive and emotional experience.
