SDP College for Women Organises an Industrial Visit to Shreyans Industries Ltd.
Under the supreme guidance and sole inspiration of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and College Managing Committee, an Industrial Visit to Shreyans Industries Ltd., Ahmedgarh, Malerkotla was organised by the Department of Business Administration, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana, to provide students with practical exposure to industrial operations and workplace practices. A group of 29 students, accompanied by the faculty in-charges, visited the manufacturing unit where they were warmly received by Mr. Naveen Kumar Verma, DGM-HR. Mr. Verma took the students on a guided tour of the production units, where they observed various stages involved in paper manufacturing, including raw material processing, pulping, bleaching and finishing. In recognition of his valuable contribution and guidance, he was presented with a letter of appreciation by the college.
As a token of goodwill, the management of Shreyans Industries Ltd. also distributed diaries to the students. The students expressed their gratitude to the management of Shreyans Industries Ltd. for their cooperation and for providing them with an enriching learning experience. Dr. Ranjana Sood, Offg. Principal, appreciated the initiative and emphasised the importance of such industrial visits in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry exposure.

ਨੂੰ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਭਿਆਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਫੈਕਲਟੀ

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਡੀਜੀਐਮ-ਐਚਆਰ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਵੀਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਵਰਮਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿੱਘਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ
ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਵਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਯੂਨਿਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਲੈ ਗਏ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੱਚੇ ਮਾਲ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਸੈਸਿੰਗ, ਪਲਪਿੰਗ, ਬਲੀਚਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਨਿਸ਼ਿੰਗ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਾਗਜ਼ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ
ਪੜਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਵਜੋਂ, ਸ਼੍ਰੇਅੰਸ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀਜ਼ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਾਇਰੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਵੰਡੀਆਂ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਅੰਸ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀਜ਼ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਡਾ. ਰੰਜਨਾ ਸੂਦ, ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਨੇ ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਦੌਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन की प्रेरणा के तहत, एस .डी .पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन, लुधियाना के बिज़नेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन विभाग ने श्रेयांस इंडस्ट्रीज़ लिमिटेड, अहमदगढ़, मलेरकोटला का औद्योगिक दौरा आयोजित किया। इसका उद्देश्य
छात्राओं को औद्योगिक कार्यों और कार्यस्थल की प्रथाओं का व्यावहारिक अनुभव प्रदान
करना था। 29 छात्राओं का एक समूह, संकाय प्रभारी के साथ, विनिर्माण इकाई का दौरा करने गया, जहाँ श्री नवीन कुमार वर्मा, DGM-HR ने उनका गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया। श्री वर्मा ने छात्राओं को उत्पादन इकाई का एक
निर्देशित दौरा कराया, जहाँ उन्होंने कागज़ बनाने की प्रक्रिया के विभिन्न चरणों
को देखा, जिसमें कच्चे माल की प्रसंस्करण, पल्पिंग, ब्लीचिंग और परिष्करण शामिल थी। उनके बहुमूल्य योगदान
और मार्गदर्शन की सराहना करते हुए, कॉलेज ने उन्हें एक प्रशंसा प्रमाण
पत्र भेंट किया।
सद्भावना के प्रतीक के रूप में, श्रेयांस इंडस्ट्रीज़ लिमिटेड के प्रबंधन ने छात्राओं को डायरियाँ भी वितरित कीं।
छात्राओं ने उनके सहयोग और एक समृद्ध सीख का अनुभव प्रदान करने के लिए श्रेयांस
इंडस्ट्रीज़ लिमिटेड के प्रबंधन के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। कार्यकारिणी प्राचार्या डॉ. रंजना सूद
ने इस पहल की सराहना की और शैक्षणिक शिक्षा तथा औद्योगिक अनुभव के बीच के अंतर को कम करने में ऐसे औद्योगिक दौरों के महत्व पर
ज़ोर दिया।
