SDP College for Women Joins the Drug-Free India Pledge Campaign

Under the inspiration of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and College Managing Committee, a Drug-Free India Pledge Mega Campaign under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan was observed at SDP College for Women, Ludhiana by the Anti-Drug Awareness and Prevention Cell, in collaboration with the Department of Social Sciences, NCC Unit and NSS Unit. As part of the observance, a seminar on drug de-addiction, an oath-taking ceremony, and a documentary screening on drug addiction were conducted to sensitise students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and promote a drug-free lifestyle. The activities encouraged students to make responsible choices and contribute towards building a healthier and drug-free society. Dr. Ranjana Sood, Offg. Principal, appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to actively contribute towards the vision of a drug-free India.

एस.डी.पी. कॉलेज फॉर वूमेन ने नशा-मुक्त भारत शपथ अभियान में लिया भाग

एस.डी.पी. सभा (रजि.) एवं कॉलेज प्रबंध समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन की प्रेरणा से नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान के अंतर्गत ड्रग-फ्री इंडिया प्लेज मेगा कैंपेन का आयोजन एस.डी.पी. कॉलेज फॉर वूमेन, लुधियाना में एंटी-ड्रग अवेयरनेस एंड प्रिवेंशन सेल द्वारा सामाजिक विज्ञान विभाग, एनसीसी यूनिट एवं एनएसएस यूनिट के सहयोग से किया गया।

इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों को नशीले पदार्थों के दुष्प्रभावों के प्रति जागरूक करने और नशा-मुक्त जीवनशैली को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से नशा मुक्ति पर सेमिनार, शपथ ग्रहण समारोह तथा नशे की लत पर आधारित डॉक्यूमेंट्री का प्रदर्शन किया गया।

इन गतिविधियों के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों को जिम्मेदार विकल्प अपनाने तथा स्वस्थ एवं नशा-मुक्त समाज के निर्माण में योगदान देने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। कार्यवाहक प्राचार्या डॉ. रंजना सूद ने इस पहल की सराहना की और विद्यार्थियों को नशा-मुक्त भारत के संकल्प को साकार करने में सक्रिय योगदान देने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
