Welcomes Freshers with Grandeur; PCS, Upinderjeet Kaur Brar Graces the Occasion
Under
the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd)
& College Managing Committee, Freshers’ Party was organised for the newly
enrolled students in SDP College for Women with much exuberance. Ms. Upinderjeet Kaur Brar, Estate Officer,
Glada, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while Dr. Ranjana Sood, Officiating Principal presided over
the occasion. The jovial smiles and high
spirit marked the freshers’ party for the students. They participated in dance,
singing and modelling events. The seniors also played a pivotal role
by giving energetic dance performances. The main attraction of the event was ‘Miss Fresher’ contest where the new comers walked the ramp
confidently and showcased their charm and brilliance. The event truly brought
out the hidden potential and charisma of the new students. Addressing the students, Ms. Upinderjeet
Kaur Brar congratulated the freshers on embarking upon a new phase of their
academic journey. She encouraged them to make the most of their college years
by actively participating in academic, cultural and co-curricular activities.
She emphasized that confidence, discipline, creativity and a positive attitude
are essential for achieving success in life. Dr. Ranjana Sood,
Officiating Principal, applauded the
efforts and talent of students and emphasised the importance of such events in
fostering creativity, confidence and a sense of belonging among the young
learners.

सुश्री उपिंदरजीत कौर बराड़ पीसीएस ने एस.डी.पी. कॉलेज की नव प्रवेशित छात्राओं को दिया उज्ज्वल भविष्य का संदेश
एस.डी.पी. सभा (पंजीकृत) सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन की प्रेरणा से एस.डी.पी. कॉलेज फॉर विमैन, लुधियाना में ‘विविधता में एकता’ के संदेश के साथ फ्रेशर्स पार्टी का आयोजन उत्साहपूर्वक किया गया। समारोह की अध्यक्षता विशिष्ट अतिथि सुश्री उपिंदरजीत कौर बराड़ — एस्टेट ऑफिसर, गलाडा लुधियाना ने की। कार्यकारिणी प्राचार्या डॉ. रंजना सूद ने उनका स्वागत किया। मुख्य अतिथि सुश्री उपिंदरजीत कौर बराड़ ने नव प्रवेशित छात्राओं को नए शैक्षणिक सत्र के लिए शुभकामनाएँ देते हुए उन्हें आत्मविश्वास, सकारात्मक सोच और निरंतर मेहनत के साथ अपने लक्ष्यों की ओर बढ़ने का संदेश दिया।
समारोह का मुख्य आकर्षण ‘मिस फ्रेशर कॉन्टेस्ट’ रहा, जिसमें प्रथम वर्ष की छात्राओं ने आत्मविश्वास के साथ रैम्प वॉक प्रस्तुत की। छात्राओं ने उमंग और उत्साह के साथ नृत्य, गायन एवं मॉडलिंग में बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया। वहीं द्वितीय एवं तृतीय वर्ष की छात्राओं ने शानदार नृत्य प्रस्तुतियों से समारोह में उत्साह और उमंग भर दी। रंगारंग प्रस्तुतियों से सजे इस आयोजन ने नवप्रवेशित छात्राओं का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया और उन्हें कॉलेज परिवार के साथ जुड़ने का सुखद अवसर प्रदान किया। कार्यक्रम ने ‘विविधता में एकता’ की भावना को सार्थक करते हुए छात्राओं के लिए यादगार अनुभव प्रस्तुत किया।
