SDP College for Women marks a day of Academic Excellence with Convocation Ceremony

Under the expert guidance and dynamic leadership of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) & College Managing Committee, the Convocation ceremony was organized by SDP College for Women, Ludhiana with great grandeur and dignity. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Dharam Singh Sandhu, Member, Punjab Educational Tribunal and Sh. Jitendra Jorwal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana. They were accorded a ceremonious welcome by Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President,  Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal and revered Members of Management. The event was commenced with the auspicious lamp lightening ceremony by all the prolific luminaries, marking the graceful beginning of convocation proceedings. It was followed by a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana, seeking blessings for the success of the ceremony. The Annual Report of the college was presented by Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal, highlighting the notable achievements and progress made by the college over the past year. During the ceremony, more than 550 students of Graduation and Post-Graduation were proudly conferred with their well-earned degrees. The honour of bestowing these degrees was gracefully performed by the distinguished dignitary Sh. Jitendra Jorwal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana. The Role of Honour awardees were especially recognized and felicitated for their outstanding academic achievements. The prominent feature of the event was unveiling of the Conference Book titled ‘Role of Digitilized library in Implementing NEP 2020 in Higher Education Intuitions’.  Sh. Balraj Kumar Bahsin, President, congratulated the entire team for their hard work in bringing this valuable resource to fruition. He further admired the students on reaching this significant milestone in their academic journey and urged them to carry forward the values instilled in them by the institution. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal delivered a vote of thanks and expressed deep gratitude to the renowned personalities for their gracious presence and words of encouragement. The momentous occasion ended on delightful note with a delicious lunch, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebration among all present.
