Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd) & College Managing Committee, International Women’s Day was celebrated in SDP College for Women. A Nukkad Natak on the theme ‘Women Empowerment’ was enacted by the students of Department of History and Political Science. Ms Manju Bhashinee, the Officiating Principal presided over the occasion and stressed on the fact that everyday should be celebrated as Women’s day. She also stated that women should take the lead in changing the psychology of men. She congratulated Ms Sukhjinder Kaur and Ms Mamta for taking the initiative and motivating the students. Dr. Geeta Bhandari , IQAC Coordinator said that the girls are adroit and dexterous and can improve the social fabric of society by the potential which is innate.
