Under the able guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, a webinar on Quit India Movement’ and ‘Say ‘No’ to Plastic’ activity was organized by the Department of NCC, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. A Senior Cadet of NCC Department was the speaker; she made the students aware about the Quit India Movement. Furthermore, In order to spread awareness among the general public about the hazards of polythene bags, NCC Cadets conducted an awareness programme on roads about the ill-effects of using plastic. They also urged the people to boycott the use of polythene bags and encourage the use of paper bags for healthier life.
