Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd) & College Managing Committee, a Poetical Recitation competition was organised by the Department of English, SDP College for Women on 15 February, 2019 in college premises. Students recited wonderful lyrics ‘The Daffodils and ‘The Solitary Reaper’ written by Romantic Poet William Wordsworth. They enacted and recited ‘The Seven Ages of Man’ written by William Shakespeare. The students also recited their self composed poems with full zeal and enthusiasm. Ms. Manju Bhashinee, Officiating Principal presided over the occasion. She appreciated the efforts done by the English Department for organising such competitions.
