Under the supreme guidance of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha(Regd.) & College Managing Committee, a Teej  was celebrated in  SDP College for Women, Ludhiana with great enthusiasm and traditional fervour. The students dressed up in Punjabi traditional attires also donned colourful  phulkaris and embellished jewellery. It was a gala time for students as they performed traditional Punjabi dance to mark the occasion. Various competitions such as Bangles, Mehandi, Punjabi Tor (walk) and Punjabi Pehrava competition were also organized. Mrs. Kiran Chugh, Sh Deepak Kapoor, Smt Anu Kapoor, Mrs. Shivani Gupta, and Smt Meenakshi Gupta graced the function with their benign presence. Dr. Ravi Kant, Principal sensitised the students about Punjabi Culture and further added that such celebrations make the students aware of our cultural values and traditions.
