Under the patronage and guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP College & SDP Sabha, to seek divine blessings of almighty for the new Academic session 2023-24, Hawan – a very pious and religious ceremony was performed by SDP College for Women, Ludhiana today in College Campus.

Sh H.K Chugh, General Secretary and his wife Smt. Kiran Chugh were the Yajmans and they performed the Hawan. The Members of Management Committee who graced the occasion were Sh. Om Parkash Angrish, Sh. Hira Nand, Sh Dhari Shah Singla, Sh Parveen Sharma, Sh Vijay Inder Gupta, Sh, Sandeep Gupta and Ms. Anu Gupta. They all were accorded a very warm welcome by Offg. Principal, Ms. Sudesh Bhalla. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP College and Sabha welcomed the new enrolled students to the college and also prayed for the unprecedented progress of the College. Amidst the chanting of mantras and offering of ‘aahuties’ in the sacred fire, Sh H.K Chugh, General Secretary and his wife Smt. Kiran Chugh, prayed for the progress and well being of the college. Offg. Principal, Ms. Sudesh Bhalla, Teaching and non-teaching staff extended their blessings to freshers and also motivated them to study with stern commitment and perseverance.
