Under the able guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, ’Punjabi Week’ was celebrated by the Department of Punjabi from 06 Nov, 2023 to 11 Nov, 2023, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. Students participated enthusiastically in various competitions like Poetical Recitation, Creative Writing, Folk Song, Folk Dance, Folk Games and Punjabi Calligraphy etc. Ms. Sudesh Bhalla, Offg. Principal, while appreciating the efforts put in by the Department of Punjabi, apprised the students of the importance of ‘Punjabi’ as an official language of Punjab, Punjabi Culture and Literature. She also motivated the students to participate in such cultural events and to take pride in their Mother tongue.
