SDP College for Women celebrates National Women’s Day
Under the able and expert guidance of ShBalrajKumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) & College Managing Committee, National Women’s Day was celebrated by the Department of Computer Science, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana as students of BCA Vth Sem brought laurels to the college by achieving excellent results in Semester Examinations held in December 2023. The overall result of BCA Vth Sem remained 100%. To celebrate this grand success and to honour womanhood, fun games like Musical Puzzle game and Quiz ‘Name the Dame’ were organised wherein students participated in these activities enthusiastically. They also shared their views and highlighted the significance of the day. Students of BCA Vth attributed their success to their hard work and indefatigable efforts of the departmental staff. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal applauded the hard work of students and admired the sincere efforts of the departmental staff in achieving outstanding results. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal motivated the students to rise above narrow mindedness and prove their mettle in every sphere. She also inspired them to keep excelling consistently.

First: Diksha Sharma and Pallavi Kainth - 325/400 (81.25%)
Second: Km Kanchan, Km Pooja and Km Tisha - 312/400 (78%)
Third: Gurjot Kaur 310/400 (77.5%) marks.
एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन लुधियाना ने राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस मनाया
दिनांक 13 फरवरी, 2024 स्थानीय एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन जी की प्रेरणा से दिसंबर 2023 में आयोजित सेमेस्टर परीक्षाओं में कॉलेज के कंप्यूटर विज्ञान विभाग के बी.सी.ए पांचवें सेमेस्टर की छात्राओं के द्वारा उत्कृष्ट परिणाम प्राप्त करके कॉलेज को गौरवान्वित करने के उपलक्ष्य में राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस मनाया गया। बी.सी.ए पांचवें सेमेस्टर का समग्र परिणाम शत प्रतिशत रहा। इस शानदार सफलता का जश्न मनाने और नारीत्व का सम्मान करने के लिए म्यूजिकल पज़ल गेम और क्विज़ 'नेम द डेम' जैसे मजेदार खेलों का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें छात्राओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। उन्होंने महिला सशक्तिकरण के बारे में भी अपने विचार साझा किये। छात्राओं ने अपनी सफलता का श्रेय अपनी कड़ी मेहनत और विभागीय प्रवक्ताओं के अथक प्रयासों को दिया। सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन और प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने छात्राओं की कड़ी मेहनत की सराहना की और उत्कृष्ट परिणाम प्राप्त करने के लिए विभागीय प्रवक्ताओं के प्रयासों की सराहना की। प्राचार्या डॉ.नीतू हांडा ने छात्राओं को संकीर्ण मानसिकता से ऊपर उठकर अपनी क्षमताओं को साबित करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने इस बात पर भी जोर दिया कि लड़कियों को आत्म-सम्मान की भावना विकसित करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।

दूसरा स्थान: कुमारी कंचन, कुमारी पूजा और कुमारी टीशा - 312/400 (78%) अंक
तीसरा स्थान: कुमारी गुरजोत कौर 310/400 (77.5%) अंक
