SDP College for Women organizes ‘Baisakhi Mela’ with much Grandeur and fanfare!

Under the expert supervision and stewardship of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) & College Managing Committee, the mega event ‘Baisakhi Mela’ was organized  by Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell of SDP College for Women, Ludhiana in College Campus with great pomp and show. The whole campus was adorned with radiant decoration and the air was filled with excitement and enthusiasm. The teaching faculty and students were dressed up in traditional Punjabi attires also donned colourful and dazzling ‘Phulkaris’ which added a touch of cultural charm to the event. The function was inaugurated by Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal. All the dignitaries, who gleefully graced the Cultural Heritage Bonanza, were accorded a very warm welcome by Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal. Students of SDP Institutions and other schools also visited the college to enjoy the carnival. One of the highlights of the carnival was the scintillating performances of students, who brought energy and ardor spirit to the stage. The most exciting aspect of ‘Baisakhi Mela’ was the stalls set up by students, which offered a wide range of mouth-watering food items, handcrafted articles such as embellished jewellery, fabrics and Mehndi, and cosmetics. The aroma of freshly cooked delicacies wafted and enticed the students. Moreover, stalls of fun games were also arranged by students, like ring toss, balloon dart and cup game that provided hours of enjoyment. The student-run stalls not only added to the festive spirit but also gave the young innovators an opportunity to showcase their talent and entrepreneurial skills. Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha commended the dedication and hard work of the entire faculty in making the event a grand success and exclaimed that it was heartwarming to see the younger generation keeping the Punjabi culture and  traditions alive through their earnest efforts. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal, showed immense appreciation and gratitude towards the collective efforts put in by the staff members for organizing the Baisakhi fair. She further said that the fair not only brought joy and happiness to everyone but also helped in promoting cultural heritage and unity among the students. Overall, the Baisakhi Mela created a diverse and memorable experience for all.

एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन ने बहुत भव्यता और धूमधाम के साथ 'बैसाखी मेला' का किया आयोजन

दिनांक 10 अप्रैल, 2024 स्थानीय एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन जी की प्रेरणा से  कॉलेज के उद्यमिता और नवाचार सेल द्वारा कॉलेज परिसर में बड़े धूमधाम के साथ मेगा शो और इवेंट 'बैसाखी मेला' का आयोजन किया गया। पूरे परिसर को दीप्तिमान सजावट से सजाया गया और वातावरण उत्साह और उमंग से भर गया। सभी प्रवक्ता और छात्रा पारंपरिक पंजाबी पोशाक पहने हुए थे और उन्होंने रंगीन और चमकदार 'फुलकारी' भी पहनी थी, जिसने कार्यक्रम में सांस्कृतिक आकर्षण का स्पर्श जोड़ा। समारोह का उद्घाटन प्राचार्या डॉ.नीतू हांडा ने किया। सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम में प्रसन्नतापूर्वक शामिल हुए सभी गणमान्य व्यक्तियों का प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा द्वारा बहुत गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया गया। एस.डी.पी संस्थानों और अन्य स्कूलों के छात्रों ने भी कार्निवल का आनंद लेने के लिए कॉलेज का दौरा किया। कार्यक्रम का एक मुख्य आकर्षण छात्राओं का शानदार प्रदर्शन था, जिन्होंने मंच पर ऊर्जा और उत्साह का संचार किया। 'बैसाखी मेले' का सबसे रोमांचक पहलू छात्राओं द्वारा लगाए गए स्टॉल थे, जो मुंह में पानी ला देने वाले खाद्य पदार्थों, अलंकृत आभूषण, कपड़े और मेहंदी जैसे हस्तनिर्मित लेख और सौंदर्य प्रसाधनों की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला पेश करते थे। ताज़ा पकाए गए व्यंजनों की सुगंध फैल गई और छात्राओं को लुभाने लगी। इसके अलावा, छात्राओं द्वारा रिंग टॉस, बैलून डार्ट और कप गेम जैसे मनोरंजक खेलों के स्टॉल भी लगाए गए थे, जो घंटों का आनंद प्रदान करते थे। छात्राओं द्वारा संचालित स्टालों ने न केवल उत्सव की भावना को बढ़ाया बल्कि युवा नवप्रवर्तकों को अपनी प्रतिभा और उद्यमशीलता कौशल दिखाने का मौका भी दिया। एस.डी.पी सभा के अध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन ने इस आयोजन को सफल बनाने के लिए सभी प्रवक्ताओं के समर्पण और कड़ी मेहनत की सराहना की और कहा कि युवा पीढ़ी को अपने ईमानदार प्रयासों के माध्यम से पंजाबी संस्कृति और परंपराओं को जीवित रखते हुए देखना खुशी की बात है। प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने बैसाखी मेले के आयोजन के लिए स्टाफ सदस्यों द्वारा किए गए सामूहिक प्रयासों के प्रति अत्यधिक सराहना और आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि मेला न केवल सभी के लिए खुशी लेकर आया बल्कि छात्राओं के बीच सांस्कृतिक विरासत और एकता को बढ़ावा देने में भी मदद मिली। कुल मिलाकर, बैसाखी मेले ने सभी के लिए एक विविध और यादगार अनुभव बनाया।

  ਸ਼੍ਰੀ. ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਸਭਾ (ਰਜਿ.) ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ, ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ਹੇਠ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਉੱਦਮ ਅਤੇ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੈੱਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਮੇਲਾ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਬੜੀ ਧੂਮਧਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪੂਰੇ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਨੂੰ ਚਮਕਦਾਰ ਸਜਾਵਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾ .ਜੋਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪਹਿਰਾਵੇ ਵਿਚ ਸਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਗੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਚਮਕਦਾਰ 'ਫੁਲਕਾਰੀਆਂ' ਵੀ ਪਹਿਨੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿਚ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਸੁਹਜ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਿਆ। ਡਾ. ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਿੱਘਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਾਰੇ ਪਤਵੰਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ, ਡਾ. ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਨਿੱਘਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ  ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ  ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ
