SDP College for Women organizes an Extension Lecture on ‘Parallel Computing’

Under the sole inspiration and guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and College Managing Committee, an Extension Lecture on ‘Parallel Computing’ was organized by the Department of Mathematics, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana in College Campus today. The resource person, Retd. Prof. (Dr.) Rama Kumari, Department of Mathematics, Punjab Agriculture University was accorded a very warm welcome by Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal and faculty members of Maths Department. In her talk, Dr. Rama highlighted the significance of Parallel Computing and its applications. She also said that integration of parallel computing into mathematical research is not only pushing the boundaries of what is possible but also fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. All the students attended the lecture attentively. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal, delivered a Vote of Thanks to the resource person for her enriching the teachers and students with the advancements in Parallel Computing technology. She also appreciated the efforts of the Department for organizing the lecture.
