an Extension Lecture on ‘Cervical Cancer’ was arranged by the Red Ribbon Club of SDP College for Women, Ludhiana, aimed at raising awareness about this critical health issue among students and faculty. Dr. Priya Bansal, Consultant, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana was the resource person for the day. She was warmly welcomed by the college Principal and members of Red Ribbon Club. Dr. Bansal enlightened the audience about the causes, prevention, and early detection of cervical cancer, emphasizing the importance of regular screening and vaccination for preventing this deadly disease. Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and Principal, Dr. Neetu Handa applauded the efforts done by the departments and thanked the resource persons for raising awareness among students. She also appreciated the students for attending the lecture attentively.
