SDP College for Women Organises an Industrial Visit

Under the expert guidance and stewardship of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and College Managing Committee, an Industrial Visit to Incubation Centre and Metaverse Lab at Munjal Birmingham City University (Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship), Ludhiana was arranged by the Department of Business Administration, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. During the visit, Mr. Shibananda Dash, Head of Innovation and Incubation Centre and Ms. Shilpa Miglani Narang, Head of Outreach and Admissions, had an interactive session with the students.  A group of 30 students experienced the Metaverse Gadgets equipped Lab and gained invaluable insights into the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in the fast-pace business landscape. The students and teachers thanked the whole staff for giving them an opportunity to learn things practically in real-time functional environment. Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, SDP Sabha and Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal, expressed gratitude to Dr. Prem Kumar, Executive Director and Mr. S.K. Rai, Executive Member, Munjal Birmingham City University, Ludhiana. Further, they encouraged the faculty members to organise more such visits for students to learn beyond the four walls of the college.

दिनांक 18 नवंबर 2024 स्थानीय एस.डी.पी. कॉलेज फॉर विमैन में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन जी की प्रेरणा से कॉलेज के बी.बी.ए विभाग द्वारा मुंजाल बर्मिंघम सिटी यूनिवर्सिटी (नवाचार और उद्यमिता केंद्र), लुधियाना में इनक्यूबेशन सेंटर और मेटावर्स लैब का एक औद्योगिक दौरा आयोजित किया गया। दौरे के दौरान, श्री शिबानंद दाश, इनोवेशन और इनक्यूबेशन सेंटर के प्रमुख और श्रीमती शिल्पा मिगलानी नारंग, आउटरीच और एडमिशन प्रमुख ने छात्राओं के साथ एक संवादात्मक सत्र आयोजित किया। 30 छात्राओं के एक समूह ने मेटावर्स गैजेट्स से सुसज्जित लैब का अनुभव किया और तेज गति वाले व्यावसायिक परिदृश्य में नवाचार और उद्यमिता के महत्व के बारे में अमूल्य जानकारी प्राप्त की। छात्राओं और शिक्षकों ने वास्तविक समय के कार्यात्मक वातावरण में व्यावहारिक रूप से चीजें सीखने का अवसर देने के लिए पूरे स्टाफ को धन्यवाद दिया। सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन और प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने मुंजाल बर्मिंघम सिटी यूनिवर्सिटी, लुधियाना के कार्यकारी निदेशक डॉ. प्रेम कुमार और कार्यकारी सदस्य श्री एस.के. राय का आभार व्यक्त किया। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने प्रवक्ताओं को, छात्राओं को कॉलेज की चारदीवारी से परे सीखने के लिए इस तरह के और दौरे आयोजित करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।

ਮਿਤੀ 18 ਨਵੰਬਰ, 2024 ਸਥਾਨਕ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਸਦਕਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਬੀ.ਬੀ.ਏ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁੰਜਾਲ ਬਰਮਿੰਘਮ ਸਿਟੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ (ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਐਂਡ ਐਂਟਰਪ੍ਰੀਨਿਓਰਸ਼ਿਪ) ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਇਨਕਿਊਬੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਟਾਵਰਸ ਲੈਬ ਦਾ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਦੌਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਕਿਊਬੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸ਼ਿਬਾਨੰਦ ਦਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਆਊਟਰੀਚ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸ਼ਿਲਪਾ ਮਿਗਲਾਨੀ ਨਾਰੰਗ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਇੰਟਰਐਕਟਿਵ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ। 30 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਟਾਵਰਸ ਗੈਜੇਟਸ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਲੈਬ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਤੇਜ਼ ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਲੈਂਡਸਕੇਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਨਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਦਮਤਾ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਲ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਲੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ  ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ: ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ ਨੇ ਬਰਮਿੰਘਮ ਸਿਟੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ  ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮੁੰਜਾਲ, ਡਾ: ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਐਸ.ਕੇ. ਰਾਏ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੈਕਚਰਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ , ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਚਾਰ ਦੀਵਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਲਈ, ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੌਰੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।   

SDP College for Women organises an Industrial Visit to MY Virtual Teams

Under the supreme guidance and sole inspiration of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and College Management Committee, an Industrial Visit to a leading software development company: MY Virtual Teams, Ludhiana was arranged by the Department of Computer Science, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. A group of 24 students accompanied by the faculty in charges went for the Industrial Visit. During the visit the students were given practical knowledge about eCommerce, Web Applications, working domains and areas of growth. The purpose of the visit for students was to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge. The students and teachers thanked Mrs. Sudha Goyal, Managing Director, MY Virtual Teams, for giving them an opportunity to learn things practically in real-time functional environment. Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, SDP Sabha and Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal appreciated the efforts done by the Department of Computer Science and encouraged the students to learn beyond academics and get exposure through such Industrial Visits.

एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन ने माई  वर्चुअल टीम्स  में एक औद्योगिक दौरे का किया आयोजन

स्थानीय एस.डी.पी महिला कॉलेज में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन के प्रोत्साहन से कॉलेज के कंप्यूटर विज्ञान विभाग  द्वारा दिनांक 13/11/24 को माई वर्चुअल टीम्स  में एक औद्योगिक दौरा आयोजित किया गया। दौरे के दौरान छात्राओं को ईकॉमर्स, वेब एप्लिकेशन, कार्य डोमेन और विकास के क्षेत्रों के बारे में व्यावहारिक ज्ञान दिया गया। उन्होंने छात्राओं को व्यावहारिक ज्ञान से भी परिचित कराया गया ताकि वे शिक्षा और औद्योगिक जीवन के प्रति अपनी सोच बदल सकें। छात्राओं और शिक्षकों ने वास्तविक समय के कार्यात्मक वातावरण में व्यावहारिक रूप से चीजें सीखने का अवसर देने के लिए माई वर्चुअल टीम्स की प्रबंध निदेशक श्रीमती सुधा गोयल को धन्यवाद दिया। प्रभारी संकाय के साथ 24 छात्रों का एक समूह औद्योगिक दौरे पर गया। छात्राओं और शिक्षकों ने माई  वर्चुअल टीम्स  के पूरे स्टाफ को वास्तविक समय के कार्यात्मक वातावरण में व्यावहारिक रूप से चीजों को सीखने का अवसर देने के लिए धन्यवाद दिया। सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन और कॉलेज प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने विभाग द्वारा किए गए प्रयासों की सराहना की और माई  वर्चुअल टीम्स  के अधिकारियों को धन्यवाद भी दिया।

ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ , ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਸਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਸਦਕਾ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ  ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੁਆਰਾ, ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਸਾਫਟਵੇਅਰ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਕੰਪਨੀ: ਮਾਈ ਵਰਚੁਅਲ ਟੀਮਾਂ, ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਦੌਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ । ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 24 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਦੌਰੇ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਈ-ਕਾਮਰਸ, ਵੈੱਬ ਐਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ, ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਡੋਮੇਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰੇ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਕ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੀਅਲ-ਟਾਈਮ ਫੰਕਸ਼ਨਲ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਲੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੁਧਾ ਗੋਇਲ, ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ, ਮਾਈ ਵਰਚੁਅਲ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ । ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਰਾਜ  ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਸਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਦੌਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਰ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।    

SDP College for Women Celebrates International Programmers’ Day

Under the expert guidance of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha & College Managing Committee, International Programmers’ Day was celebrated by the Department of Computer Science, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. To mark the day, a Poster Making Competition was organised on the theme of A.I., Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Data Science, Neural Networks and Emerging Trends in I.T. Followed by a Puzzle Solving activity and PowerPoint Presentations wherein students participated with great enthusiasm, and displayed effective critical thinking skills. At the end, students were addressed by Principal, Dr. Neetu Handa who apprised them about the significance of adapting to new technological advancements. Further, Madam Principal, Dr. Neetu Handa, awarded certificates to the winners and appreciated the efforts taken by the Department of Computer Science.

एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन में अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रोग्रामर दिवस मनाया गया

दिनांक 13-9-2024 स्थानीय एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन जी की प्रेरणा से कंप्यूटर विज्ञान विभाग द्वारा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रोग्रामर दिवस मनाया गया। इस दिन को चिह्नित करने के लिए  ए.आई, मशीन लर्निंग, साइबर सुरक्षा, डेटा साइंस, न्यूरल नेटवर्क और आई.टी उभरते रुझान विषय पर पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। इसके बाद पहेली सुलझाने की गतिविधि और पावरपॉइंट प्रस्तुतियाँ हुईं  जिसमें छात्राओं ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और प्रभावी आलोचनात्मक सोच कौशल का प्रदर्शन किया। अंत में प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने छात्राओं को संबोधित किया  और उन्हें नई तकनीकी प्रगति को अपनाने के महत्व से अवगत कराया। इसके अलावा प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने विजेता विद्यार्थियों को प्रमाण पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया और कंप्यूटर साइंस विभाग द्वारा किए जा रहे प्रयासों की सराहना की।

ਸ਼੍ਰੀ. ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਸਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ, ਏ.ਆਈ., ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ, ਸਾਈਬਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ, ਡਾਟਾ ਸਾਇੰਸ, ਨਿਊਰਲ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਵਿੱਚ ਉਭਰਦੇ ਰੁਝਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ 'ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਬੁਝਾਰਤ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਵਰਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੁਤੀਆਂ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਸੋਚ ਦੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਡਾ. ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ,ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪਿ੍ੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ: ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ ਨੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ |

S.D.P Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School Celebrates Nutrition Week 2024

Under the able guidance of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha & College Managing Committee, S.D.P Collegiate Girls Senior Secondary School celebrated National Nutrition Week from 2nd to 9th September 2024. The week-long event was aimed at raising awareness about the importance of balanced nutrition and promoting healthy eating habits among students. The Home Science Department organized a series of activities, including interactive workshops, seminar, and food exhibitions that emphasized the significance of proper nutrition for physical and mental well-being. Students actively participated in activities like healthy recipe competitions, poster-making on nutritional themes, and nutrition quizzes, which helped them understand the importance of making informed food choices. The week concluded with a grand exhibition where students displayed creative and nutritious dishes, showcasing their understanding of balanced diets. Principal Dr. Neetu Handa applauded the efforts of the Home Science Department and emphasized the need for continuing education on health and nutrition. She further added that the health of our students is paramount, and through initiatives like Nutrition Week, we aim to empower them with knowledge that will help them make better food choices, leading to healthier lives.

एस.डी.पी. कॉलेजिएट गर्ल्स सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल ने पोषण सप्ताह 2024 मनाया

श्री के कुशल मार्गदर्शन में. बलराज कुमार भसीन, अध्यक्ष, एसडीपी सभा और कॉलेज प्रबंध समिति, एस.डी.पी. कॉलेजिएट गर्ल्स सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल ने 2 से 9 सितंबर 2024 तक राष्ट्रीय पोषण सप्ताह मनाया। सप्ताह भर चलने वाले कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य संतुलित पोषण के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना और स्वस्थ भोजन को बढ़ावा देना था। छात्रों के बीच आदतें. गृह विज्ञान विभाग ने इंटरैक्टिव कार्यशालाओं, सेमिनार और खाद्य प्रदर्शनियों सहित गतिविधियों की एक श्रृंखला आयोजित की, जिसमें शारीरिक और मानसिक कल्याण के लिए उचित पोषण के महत्व पर जोर दिया गया। छात्रों ने स्वस्थ व्यंजन प्रतियोगिताओं, पोषण संबंधी विषयों पर पोस्टर-मेकिंग और पोषण प्रश्नोत्तरी जैसी गतिविधियों में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया, जिससे उन्हें सूचित भोजन विकल्प बनाने के महत्व को समझने में मदद मिली। सप्ताह का समापन एक भव्य प्रदर्शनी के साथ हुआ जहां छात्रों ने संतुलित आहार के बारे में अपनी समझ का प्रदर्शन करते हुए रचनात्मक और पौष्टिक व्यंजन प्रदर्शित किए। प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने गृह विज्ञान विभाग के प्रयासों की सराहना की और स्वास्थ्य और पोषण पर निरंतर शिक्षा की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि हमारे छात्रों का स्वास्थ्य सर्वोपरि है, और पोषण सप्ताह जैसी पहल के माध्यम से, हमारा लक्ष्य उन्हें ज्ञान के साथ सशक्त बनाना है जो उन्हें बेहतर भोजन विकल्प चुनने में मदद करेगा, जिससे वे स्वस्थ जीवन जी सकेंगे।

SDP College for Women Celebrates Teacher’s Day with Great Fun and Enthusiasm

Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, Teachers’ day was celebrated by the Department of B.A.,B.Ed, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal, presided over the occasion. The students exhibited their talent and devotion towards teachers through speech, poem recitation, dancing and singing. Thereafter, to mark the celebration, some fun filled activities were also organized by the students of BA.B.Ed. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal threw light on the importance of a teacher in life. She further admired the students for their efforts and wished everyone ‘Happy Teacher’s Day’.

दिनांक 05-09-2024 स्थानीय एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फ़ॉर विमैन के परिसर में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन की प्रेरणा से कॉलेज के बी.ए.बी.एड विभाग द्वारा शिक्षकों के सम्मान में शिक्षक दिवस मनाया।

कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने की।

छात्राओं ने भाषण, कविता पाठ, नृत्य और गायन के माध्यम से शिक्षकों के प्रति अपनी प्रतिभा और समर्पण का प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने अपने गुरुजनों के सम्मान में भाव व्यक्त करते हुए गुरु को भगवान से भी बढ़कर कहा तथा उन्हें अपने जीवन का आदर्श माना।

 SDP College for Women celebrates Janamashtmi

Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College

Managing Committee, Janamashtami was celebrated on Saturday, August 24, 2024 by The

Department of Music, S.D.P. College for Women, Ludhiana and SDP Collegiate Girls Sr. Sec.

School, Ludhiana. Students began the event with a prayer song, followed by a recital of holy

hymns and bhajans including some traditional and some more contemporary ones. The event

was attended by a large number of students and faculty members. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal,

concluded the event whilst applauding the efforts done by the students for their performances

and faculty members for organizing the event.

ਮਿਤੀ 24-08-2024 ਸਥਾਨਕ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਸਦਕਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜੀਏਟ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਨਮ ਅਸ਼ਟਮੀ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਗੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੁਝ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਕਾਲੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਏ ਗਏ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਅਸ਼ਟਮੀ ਤੇ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਡਾਂਸ ਵੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਅਸ਼ਟਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

दिनांक 24-08-2024 स्थानीय एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फ़ॉर विमैन के परिसर में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन की प्रेरणा से कॉलेज के संगीत विभाग और एस.डी.पी कॉलेजिएट सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल द्वारा जन्माष्टमी  मनाई  गई। छात्राओं ने प्रार्थना गीत के साथ कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की, जिसके बाद कुछ पारंपरिक और समकालीन पवित्र भजनों का गायन किया गया। छात्राओं ने जन्माष्टमी पर आधारित नृत्य भी प्रस्तुत किया। प्रिंसिपल नीतू हांडा ने अपने संबोधन भाषण में छात्राओं द्वारा दी गई सभी प्रस्तुतियों की भरपूर प्रशंसा करते हुए सभी को जन्माष्टमी की शुभकामनाएं दीं और  विभाग द्वारा किए गए प्रयासों की सराहना भी की।

S.D.P. College for Women organizes Poem Recitation and Creative Writing Competition to celebrate a Week-Long Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Under the direction of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP College & SDP Sabha (Regd.), a Poem Recitation and Creative Writing Competition under the theme ‘Viksit Bharat’ was organised on the third day of a Week Long Celebration ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ by the Language Departments (English, Hindi, Punjabi), SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. The whole campus has been decorated with tri-coloured flags, balloons and flowers. To mark respect for the Freedom Fighters, who laid down their lives for the motherland, students from various streams participated in Essay Writing, Poem Writing and Story Writing contests. They also recited and enacted the self-composed poems reflecting the love for their nation. Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal, motivated the students to inculcate the spirit of patriotism and also encouraged them to come forward as responsible citizens. She further appreciated the efforts done by the Language Departments. Towards the end, winners were felicitated with certificates

एस.डी.पी. कॉलेज फॉर विमैन में चल रहे साप्ताहिक ‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव’ की कड़ी में काव्य पाठ और रचनात्मक लेखन प्रतियोगिता का किया आयोजन

दिनांक 12-08-2024 स्थानीय एस.डी.पी. कॉलेज फॉर विमैन में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन जी की प्रेरणा से एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फॉर विमैन, लुधियाना के भाषा विभाग (अंग्रेजी, हिंदी, पंजाबी) द्वारा कॉलेज परिसर में एक सप्ताह तक चलने वाले उत्सव 'आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव' के तीसरे दिन 'विकसित भारत' विषय के तहत काव्य पाठ और रचनात्मक लेखन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। पूरे परिसर को तिरंगे झंडों, गुब्बारों और फूलों से सजाया गया। मातृभूमि के लिए अपने प्राण न्यौछावर करने वाले स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के प्रति सम्मान व्यक्त करने के लिए, विभिन्न विभागों की छात्राओं ने निबंध लेखन, कविता लेखन और कहानी लेखन प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लिया। उन्होंने अपने राष्ट्र के प्रति प्रेम को दर्शाती स्व-रचित कविताओं का पाठ किया। प्राचार्य डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने छात्राओं को देशभक्ति की भावना जगाने के लिए प्रेरित किया और उन्हें जिम्मेदार नागरिक के रूप में आगे आने के लिए भी प्रोत्साहित किया। उन्होंने भाषा विभागों द्वारा किये गये प्रयासों की भी सराहना की।

ਮਿਤੀ 12-08-2024 ਸਥਾਨਕ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਸਦਕਾ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਕਾਲਜ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ (ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ, ਹਿੰਦੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹਫ਼ਤਾ ਭਰ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ 'ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਮਹੋਤਸਵ' ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਤੀਜੇ ਦਿਨ 'ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ' ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਪਾਠ ਅਤੇ ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਲੇਖਣ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪੂਰੇ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਰੰਗੇ ਝੰਡਿਆਂ, ਗੁਬਾਰਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮਾਤ ਭੂਮੀ ਲਈ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਘੁਲਾਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਣ, ਕਵਿਤਾ ਲੇਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਲੇਖਣ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਵੈ-ਰਚਿਤ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਠ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਿ੍ੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ: ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ | ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।

SDP Collegiate Girls Sr. Sec. School observes Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day

Under the able guidance of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha & College Managing Committee, S.D.P Collegiate Girls Sr. Sec. School observes Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day, marking 79 years since the atomic bombings of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and August 9, 1945, respectively. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the devastating impact of nuclear weapons and the profound loss of life that ensued.

The bombings led to the immediate deaths of tens of thousands of people, with many more suffering from long-term health effects due to radiation exposure. The aftermath of these events has deeply influenced global perspectives on war, peace, and the ethical implications of nuclear warfare.

 On this occasion, the college principal Dr. Neetu Handa honored the resilience of the survivors, known as Hibakusha, and acknowledge their tireless advocacy for a world free of nuclear weapons. ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਸਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ. ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ, ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ , ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜੀਏਟ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਹੀਰੋਸ਼ੀਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਗਾਸਾਕੀ ਦਿਵਸ ਮਨਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ 6 ਅਗਸਤ ਅਤੇ 9 ਅਗਸਤ, 1945 ਨੂੰ ਜਾਪਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਹੀਰੋਸ਼ੀਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਗਾਸਾਕੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਮਾਣੂ ਬੰਬ ਧਮਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ 79 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦਿਨ ਪਰਮਾਣੂ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੋਏ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਬੰਬ ਧਮਾਕਿਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਰੇਡੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਐਕਸਪੋਜਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਸਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੂ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਵਿਆਪੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

 ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ ਨੇ ਹਿਬਾਕੁਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਚਕੀਲੇਪਣ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੂ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਵਕਾਲਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਭਿਆਨਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਮਝ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

एस.डी.पी सभा और कॉलेज प्रबंध समिति अध्यक्ष, श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन के कुशल मार्गदर्शन में., एस.डी.पी, कॉलेजिएट गर्ल्स सीनियर. स्कूल हिरोशिमा और नागासाकी दिवस मनाता है, जो क्रमशः 6 अगस्त और 9 अगस्त 1945 को जापानी शहरों हिरोशिमा और नागासाकी पर परमाणु बमबारी के 79 साल पूरे होने का प्रतीक है। यह दिन परमाणु हथियारों के विनाशकारी प्रभाव और उसके परिणामस्वरूप हुई जीवन की गहरी क्षति की मार्मिक याद दिलाता है।

बम विस्फोटों के कारण हजारों लोगों की तत्काल मृत्यु हो गई, और कई लोग विकिरण के संपर्क में आने के कारण दीर्घकालिक स्वास्थ्य प्रभावों से पीड़ित हुए। इन घटनाओं के परिणामों ने युद्ध, शांति और परमाणु युद्ध के नैतिक निहितार्थों पर वैश्विक परिप्रेक्ष्य को गहराई से प्रभावित किया है।

 इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय प्राचार्य डाॅ. नीतू हांडा ने जीवित बचे लोगों, जिन्हें हिबाकुशा के नाम से जाना जाता है, के लचीलेपन का सम्मान किया और परमाणु हथियारों से मुक्त दुनिया के लिए उनकी अथक वकालत को स्वीकार किया। उनकी कहानियाँ हमें युद्ध की भयावहता और शांति और आपसी समझ पर आधारित भविष्य की दिशा में काम करने के महत्व की याद दिलाती हैं।

The diligent students of SDP College for Women, Ludhiana, excelled in B.Com II Semester, examinations of Panjab University, Chandigarh, held in May 2024. Shivangi Yadav of B.Com II Semester clinched first position in college whereas Shivani earned second position followed by Khushi Sharma who stood third in college. The brilliant students attributed their success to the unwavering support of their families and untiring efforts of the departmental staff. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.), Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal and Staff members applauded the hard work of students and also wished them good luck for their future endeavours.

Commemorating the Shaheedi Diwas of Sardar Udham Singh

Under the able guidance of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha & College Managing Committee, S.D.P Collegiate Girls Sr. Sec. School observes  the Shaheedi Diwas (Martyrdom Day) of Sardar Udham SinghJi,  a legendary figure in the Indian freedom struggle. As we remember Sardar Udham Singh, we honor his courage and dedication. His legacy serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by many in the quest for India's independence. It also underscores the importance of upholding justice, equality, and human dignity in all aspects of life The program opened with a soulful rendition of “Ae Watan, Watan Mere Abaad Rahe Tu,” invoking a deep sense of pride and gratitude for the nation. This was followed by a series of performances that included classic patriotic songs like “Mere Desh Ki Dharti,” “Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon,” and “Vande Mataram,” each stirring the audience with their powerful messages of love for the country.  In addition to musical performances, students also recited poems that captured the essence of sacrifice and courage demonstrated by freedom fighters like Sardar Udham Singh. Notable among these was a recitation of "Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna," a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made during India's struggle for independence. On this  occasion, the college principal Dr. Neetu Handa honored the sacrifices of our martyrs and paid homage to their unwavering courage and patriotism.

एस.डी.पी.कॉलेज फॉर विमैन में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन जी की प्रेरणा से आज यहां कॉलेज परिसर में प्रबंध समिति द्वारा ,एस.डी.पी कॉलेजिएट गर्ल्स सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल में भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के एक महान व्यक्तित्व सरदार उधम सिंह जी का शहीदी दिवस (शहीद दिवस) मनाया गया ।  जैसे ही हम सरदार उधम सिंह को याद करते हैं, हम उनके साहस और समर्पण का सम्मान करते हैं। उनकी विरासत भारत की स्वतंत्रता की तलाश में कई लोगों द्वारा किए गए बलिदानों की याद दिलाती है। यह जीवन के सभी पहलुओं में न्याय, समानता और मानवीय गरिमा को बनाए रखने के महत्व को भी रेखांकित करता है। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत "ऐ वतन, वतन मेरे आबाद रहे तू" की भावपूर्ण प्रस्तुति के साथ हुई, जिसमें राष्ट्र के लिए गर्व और कृतज्ञता की गहरी भावना जागृत हुई। इसके बाद प्रदर्शनों की एक श्रृंखला शुरू हुई जिसमें "मेरे देश की धरती," "ऐ मेरे वतन के लोगों," और "वंदे मातरम" जैसे क्लासिक देशभक्ति गीत शामिल थे, जिनमें से प्रत्येक ने देश के प्रति प्रेम के अपने शक्तिशाली संदेशों से दर्शकों को उत्साहित किया।  संगीत प्रदर्शन के अलावा, छात्रों ने कविताएँ भी सुनाईं जिनमें सरदार उधम सिंह जैसे स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों द्वारा प्रदर्शित बलिदान और साहस का सार समाहित था। इनमें से उल्लेखनीय था "सरफरोशी की तमन्ना" का पाठ, जो भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के दौरान किए गए बलिदानों की मार्मिक याद दिलाता है। इस अवसर पर कॉलेज प्राचार्य डॉ.नीतू हांडा ने हमारे शहीदों के बलिदान का सम्मान किया और उनके अटूट साहस और देशभक्ति को श्रद्धांजलि दी ।

It is a matter of great pride that students of SDP College for Women, Ludhiana, have shown excellent results in BBA IInd Semester Examinations held in May 2024. Km. Mitali earned first position in College whereas Km. Tania clinched second position, followed by Km. Preeti who stood third in College. Students of BBA IInd Sem attributed their success to the unstinted support of their families and indefatigable efforts of the departmental staff. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal applauded the hard work of students and admired the sincere efforts of the departmental staff in achieving excellent results. पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी द्वारा घोषित बी.बी.ए द्वितीय सेमेस्टर के परीक्षा परिणाम में छात्राओं का शानदार प्रदर्शन रहा। कुमारी मिताली ने कॉलेज में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया जबकि कुमारी तानिया ने कॉलेज में द्वितीय स्थान तथा कुमारी प्रीति ने कॉलेज में तृतीय स्थान हासिल किया। बी.बी.ए द्वितीय सेमेस्टर की छात्राओं ने अपनी सफलता का श्रेय अपनी कड़ी मेहनत और विभागीय प्रवक्ताओं के अथक प्रयासों को दिया। सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन जी और डॉ. नीतू हांडा, प्रिंसिपल ने छात्राओं की कड़ी मेहनत की सराहना की और उत्कृष्ट परिणाम प्राप्त करने के लिए विभागीय प्रवक्ताओं के प्रयासों की प्रशंसा की। प्रिंसिपल डॉ. नीतू हांडा ने भी सभी बी.बी.ए छात्राओं को उनके भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएं दीं।

ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਫ਼ਾਰ ਵੂਮੈਨ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਈ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਬੀ.ਬੀ.ਏ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਹਨ। ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਮਿਤਾਲੀ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਦਕਿ  ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਤਾਨੀਆ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੀ। ਬੀ.ਬੀ.ਏ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਹਰਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਭਾਗੀ ਸਟਾਫ ਦੀ ਅਣਥੱਕ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬਲਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਭਸੀਨ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਸਭਾ (ਰਜਿਸਟਰਡ) ਅਤੇ ਡਾ: ਨੀਤੂ ਹਾਂਡਾ, ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਿਭਾਗੀ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਦੇ ਸੁਹਿਰਦ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।

It is a matter of great pride that students of SDP College for Women, Ludhiana, have shown 100% overall results in M.A Hindi IInd Semester Examinations held in May 2024. Km. Shallu Chaudari earned first position in College whereas Km. Amisha Mourya clinched second position, followed by Km. Pooja Bala who stood third in College. Students of M.A IInd Sem attributed their success to their hard work and indefatigable efforts of the departmental staff. SDP College for Women conducts Fire & Safety Mock Drill- A Life Saving Exercise

Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, A Fire & Safety Mock Drill was conducted in SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. A team from Punjab Fire Service, Local Bus stand, Ludhiana comprising of Mr. Dheeraj Sharma, Fire Officer, Mr. Pavittar Singh, Driver Operator, Mr. Saurabh Bhagat, Fireman and Mr. Manjinder Singh, Fireman carried out the mock drill to prepare students and teachers for any such eventuality under the fire risk reduction programme. Mr. Dheeraj Sharma, Fire Officer, delivered an informative lecture on the safety measures to be adopted during different types of fire emergency, the use of fire extinguishers and the ways to respond swiftly in times of such emergency situation. The students and staff members participated with great enthusiasm and gained the knowledge attentively. Offg. Principal, Sudesh Bhalla, applauded the efforts done by the experienced team for raising awareness about fire fighting rescue operation.

दिनांक 23 अगस्त, 2023 स्थानीय एस.डी.पी कॉलेज फ़ॉर विमैन के परिसर में सभाध्यक्ष श्री बलराज कुमार भसीन की प्रेरणा से कॉलेज में एक फायर एंड सेफ्टी मॉक ड्रिल आयोजित की गई। पंजाब फायर सर्विस, स्थानीय बस स्टैंड, लुधियाना की एक टीम जिसमें श्री धीरज शर्मा, फायर ऑफिसर, श्री पवित्तर सिंह, ड्राइवर ऑपरेटर, श्री सौरभ भगत, फायरमैन और श्री मनजिंदर सिंह, फायरमैन शामिल थे, ने अग्नि जोखिम न्यूनीकरण कार्यक्रम के तहत ऐसी किसी भी घटना के लिए छात्राओं और शिक्षकों को तैयार करने के लिए मॉक ड्रिल की। अग्निशमन अधिकारी श्री धीरज शर्मा ने विभिन्न प्रकार की आग की आपात स्थिति के दौरान अपनाए जाने वाले सुरक्षा उपायों, अग्निशामक यंत्रों के उपयोग और ऐसी आपातकालीन स्थिति के समय तेजी से प्रतिक्रिया करने के तरीकों पर एक जानकारीपूर्ण व्याख्यान दिया। छात्राओं और शिक्षकों ने बड़े उत्साह के साथ भाग लिया और महत्वपूर्ण ज्ञान प्राप्त किया। कार्यकारिणी प्राचार्या श्रीमती सुदेश भल्ला ने अग्निशमन बचाव अभियान के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए अनुभवी टीम द्वारा किए गए प्रयासों की सराहना की।

It is a matter of great honour that Km. Kumkum, BCA IVth Sem of SDP College for Women got first position in College by securing 297/400 (74.25%) marks whereas Km. Reetika got second position in College by getting 293/400 (73.25%) marks followed by  Srishti who got third position in College with 291/400 (72.75%) marks. The College Principal Dr. Ravi Kant appreciated the students for their achievements. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha & SDP College Managing Committee and staff members congratulated the students and wished them luck for their future endeavour.

A magnificent 52nd Annual Athletic Meet was organized by SDP College for Women amidst lot of enthusiasm, passion and vigour. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP College & SDP Sabha (Regd.) was the Chief Guest for the Closing Session. Sh Rajinder Soi was the Guest of Honour for the morning session. He unfurled the college flag, took salute from a well synchronized March past contingents, and declared the meet open.

The members, who graced the occasion, were Sh H.K. Chugh, Gen, Sec., Sh Rajinder Soi, Sh Vijay Inder Gupta, Sh Dhari Shah Singla, Mr. Parveen Verma, Sh Rajinder Kumar Talwar, Sh Jasveer Chauhan, Principal and Dr. Sanjeev Bindra, Principal. The Chief Guest was accorded a very warm welcome by the Members of the Management and the College Principal, Dr. Ravi Kant. The students presented Aerobics exercises and cultural item like Giddha. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President addressed the students and motivated them to participate in sports. He also enlightened the students about the importance of sports and games in day-to-day life.

Under the able guidance of Sh Balraj Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, a ‘Code-O-Fiesta: an inter class competition of Debugging’ was organized by the Department of Computer Science, SDP College for Women, Daresi Road. 17 teams participated in this competition enthusiastically. The College Principal appreciated the efforts of organizing team and participants. Certificates were also given at the end of the event.

Under the able guidance of Sh. Dr. Ashwani Bhalla, the Chief Guest for the occasion, addressed the alumni to promote admissions in college. He also encouraged the current students to achieve greater heights in their life. The Ex-students were honoured by the College Principal. The present students displayed a variety of cultural events like Bhajan, Group Songs, Group Dance, etc. The old students too participated in the event with great enthusiasm. They also re-energized their past memories about their teachers and friends. The ambience was filled with nostalgic memories, laughter and joy of friendship. Dr. Ravi Kant, Principal, expressed his gratitude to the Alumni for making it a remarkable success.

Under the able guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, an ‘On the Spot Teaching Aid Preparation’ Competition was organized by the Department of BAB.Ed, SDP College for Women, Daresi Road, Ludhiana. Students of BAB.ED VIIIth Sem took part in this competition enthusiastically. They were divided in 8 teams. Students showcased their talent of teaching in the competition through various teaching-Learning aids for winning the competition. Dr. Ravi Kant, the Principal of College, appreciated the efforts of organizing team and participants. He also encouraged them to take part in co-curricular activities. It is a matter of great privilege that Geetika of SDP college for Women, M.Com 2nd Sem got first position in college by securing 1238/1400(88.42%), whereas Timcy got second position in college with 1217/1400(86.92%), followed by Pallavi with 1207/1400(86.21%). Under the able guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, a workshop on Calligraphy was organized by the Department of Fine Arts, SDP College for Women, Daresi Road, Ludhiana. During this workshop students were told about how to write in modern calligraphy style by using a regular pen or pencil. Students were also made aware about career in Calligraphy. Dr. Ravi Kant, Principal appreciated the efforts done by the department of Fine Arts.

Under the able guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, an online Interclass Cooking Competition was organized by the   Department of Home Science, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. The theme of the competition was to prepare protein rich foods to immunize from Covid-19. Students from various streams prepared different types of healthy food and displayed their culinary skills in making nutritious food. The Principal appreciated the participants for their efforts and motivated them to take part in co-academic events.
